Old fashioned pitcher cover made in Handmade Irish Carrickmacross Lace using beads at the edge for weight.

This piece was exhibited at the Royal Dublin Society Craft Exhibition in 2001.

"Wedding Cushion"

Handmade Irish Carrickmacross Lace

This wedding cushion can be used as an heirloom as it is unpersonalised. It features two hearts intertwined which hold the wedding rings. The quote (which is done by machine) reads "God, the best maker of all marriages, combine your hearts in one". Shakespeare

"Fantasia"

Handmade Irish Carrickmacross Lace Fan.

Size of Piece: 36cms x 19cms - 14.2" x 7.5"

Fansticks were made by Malcolm Cox. Guardsticks are made of alternative ivory. The inner sticks are made from pierced birchwood. This design won 2nd prize at the Royal Dublin Society Craft Exhibition in 1998.
